Rotary Capstan

The AFN MAKİNA Rotating Capstan is designed to provide precise tension control and stable cable pulling during the stranding of large cross-section and multi-wire conductors. It is primarily installed in front of Ø1600 and Ø2000 Bunching Machines, ensuring reliable process control and high production efficiency.

Its rotating design follows the twisting motion of the product, preventing additional torsional stress while maintaining constant pulling force throughout the production process. The heavy-duty construction, high-torque drive system, and synchronized operation make it ideal for processing large copper and aluminum conductor constructions.

The machine features an adjustable belt pressure system and wear-resistant belts that accommodate a wide range of conductor sizes while ensuring long service life and low maintenance. The PLC-based automation system enables full synchronization with the production line, maximizing productivity and product quality.
